The president of the United States of America, Joe Biden has reportedly signed a bill into law that will commemorate the end of slavery in America.
Slavery in the United States of America was at first a legal institution of using human as a movable assets, mostly Africans and African Americans
It existed in the United States from its founding in 1776 until the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment in 1865 which terminated it.
However, it’s termination did not guarantee the absence of slavery within the identity of some citizens in the US as it eventually resulted to racism which we are still witnessing even as at now.
Reports we just spotted on Facebook has it that the current president of the United States, Joe Biden has officially signed a bill into law that will commemorate slavery as holiday.
According to the report, the bill was signed on Thursday at a jubilant White House ceremony as the president emphasized on the need for Americans to regard with its history, even though it’s shameful.
